LN band performed a free “Pops” Concert Wednesday, Feb. 8. The music played included music similar to film, pop culture, circus and cartoon genres. During the show, sophomore Elizabeth Niemiec presented “A Tribute to Louis Armstrong” in celebration of black history month, accompanied by the wind ensemble. Also, Ball State University saxophone professor Dr. George Wolfe played “Persuasion” written by Sammy Nestico with the symphonic band.
