Hoosiers speak about Super Bowl Village

Published on February 4, 2012 by in News

Our reporters went downtown to capture the Super Bowl Village. This is what people had to say.

Going downtown was cool; there were a lot of entertainment and
activities going on. I went to the mall and the inside was decorated
for the super bowl and they had some fun things to do. I saw someone
on the street making a giant sculpture of a football.
— Fiona Radley (senior)

I haven’t gone downtown yet, but I plan on going to the NFL
experience and trying the zip line if the wait isn’t horrible. A lot
of celebrities are arriving now and I’m excited about that.
— James Vandervloedt (junior)

I haven’t been downtown, but I’m going to the LMFAO convert. I’m
excited for it and it’s free which is always nice. The parking will
probably cost money but it’s worth it.
— Haili Fritz (sophomore)

I went with my friend the other day; we mostly walked around. It was
fun be we had to pay twenty dollars for parking and walk a little
more than a mile to get to everything.
— Jake Heyerdahl (senior)
